CRITICAL INSTALLATION & TECHNICAL WARNINGS

Flat Surface Requirement: The motoscope mini must be mounted onto a completely flat surface. The two M3 fastening bolts on the back must lie flat; the housing wall has no load-bearing function and must not touch the fastening surface, or the instrument will be damaged beyond repair when tightened.

Torque Limitation: The mounting holes are spaced 48.5 mm apart. Use M3 screws with an engagement depth between a minimum of 3 mm and a maximum of 5 mm, keeping the tightening torque strictly under 2 Nm.

Mandatory Fuse Protection: The red +12V power supply wire must be fused using the supplied 1A cable fuse to prevent short circuits and electrical fires.

Sensor Setup: The device is generally compatible with original 3-wire OEM sensors providing a ground signal. If using the included magnetic reed switch, ensure the gap between the magnet and sensor tip does not exceed 2mm, keep them exactly parallel, and ensure no magnetizable material passes the sensor tip.
