Plug & Ride Setup: The connector is simply plugged into the back of the original wiring harness after removing the original instrument. You will need to mount a proper bracket.

OEM Button Integration: The included separate menu push-button will not be used; instead, you will operate the instrument using the original "Info" button already on the vehicle.

CAN Bus Warning: Please make sure that the CAN bus option is NEVER deactivated in the setup menu. Otherwise, the instrument will stop communicating, and the "Info" button will no longer work. (If disabled, re-activation is only possible via the "touch area" or by tapping the green cable to GND to simulate a button press).

Odometer & Warranty Notice: For safety reasons, the instrument will not transmit any data back to the ECU. Therefore, the total mileage WILL NOT be stored or updated in the ECU. It is highly recommended to manually take over the total mileage of the original instrument into the new setup. Please consult your dealer regarding any potential effects on comprehensive mileage warranties.

Unsupported Features: It is not possible to use the instrument for heated grip control or to display the remaining driving distance based on actual fuel level.
